We are a truly international team and proud to play a central role in securing the electricity supply for Europe. As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners, provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures, play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This is what your day will look like
- Analyse the quality of the UCTE / CGMES power grid models using load flow tools and scripts
- Together with the team, identify systematic methods to identify recurring errors in power system grid models
- Update existing requirements and documentation for monitoring and reporting solutions
- Develop minor monitoring solutions and visualization with Python or PowerBI
- Perform load flow simulations using load flow engines (e.g. PowerFactory, PandaPower, PowSyBl)
- Provide engineering analysis of simulation results
- Respond to ad-hoc analyses requests and reported issues
You come with
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical/Power Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Relevant coursework and genuine interest in power systems
- Proven experience with Python programming language
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, plotly, PowerBI) and data processing (e.g., pandas, NumPy) is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of power systems grid modelling, related data formats (e.g. UCTE DEF, CIM/CGMES) and experience with load flow engines (e.g. PowerFactory, PandaPower, PowSyBl) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Analytical thinking, structured working style, and strong willingness to learn new tools and engineering methods.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
