  • Translate business requirements into software architecture concepts, APIs, data flows, and service models
  • Work hands-on on backend and integration logic, and guide the frontend where needed
  • Lead the team technically — code reviews, design discussions, quality standards, good engineering practices
  • Shape our future application platform, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps principles
  • Ensure seamless integration across systems, services, APIs, and UIs
  • Document architectures using UML, BPMN, and other design methods
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, and engineers
  • Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production readiness

You come with

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years (if Master) / 7+ years (if Bachelor) experience in software engineering, including architectural responsibility
  • Solid experience with cloud-native concepts, microservices, containers, k8s

  • Strong expertise in modern, cloud-native, and microservice architectures
  • A track record of designing and implementing maintainable, scalable, service oriented future-proof systems
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, web technologies

  • Motivation and enthusiasm to set up and work with modern software development methods, thus making cultural impact — shaping how we build software for the next decade
Who you are
A hands-on architect who enjoys designing systems and writing code. You’re not a pure developer — and not an overarching solution architect either. Instead, you bridge both worlds. What you bring:
  • Strong experience as senior engineer, able to guide and uplift a mixed-skill development team
  • Solid understanding of modern software architecture patterns and when/how to apply them
  • A future-oriented mindset for designing services and APIs that last
  • Interest in building backend business logic, with web technologies as the elegant top layer
  • Confidence in using AI tools as accelerators, not replacements
  • Close collaboration with our solution architects and Head of Technology
  • Commitment to creating the foundation of our engineering culture
  • A pragmatic, collaborative, and quality-focused approach
  • An agile mindset, enthusiasm for iterative work, and continuously improving shape our ways of working

Why this role matters
You’ll become one of the key architects of our future software landscape. Starting with us at the very beginning, you:
  • define the architectural guardrails for years to come
  • shape our tech stack, coding standards, and development practices
  • influence how we build, test, deploy, and operate software
  • help create a modern in-house engineering culture from scratch
