This is what your day will look like
- Drive the development of cross-border capacity calculation services in the field of (electric) power system operation from the conceptual phase until and including the roll out to production through the service development projects
- Cooperate closely with internal and external stakeholders (with strong focus on our customers the Transmission System Operators for electricity) and deliver the service development roadmaps that ensure compliance with EU regulatory requirements for Regional Coordination Centers
- Deliver overall service design of regional coordination services with regards to needed capabilities, resources, processes, and systems
- Supervise quality of the implemented services (based on KPI reports) and drive continuous improvements through the service management processes and service development projects
- Prepare detailed service offerings for customers (for Service Level Agreements) including proposal of service KPIs that are aligned with financial aspects
- Provide advice and guidance to the management on service-related issues within the area of responsibility
- Coordinate service onboarding to colleagues and ensure knowledge management throughout company value chain
- Ensure alignment and integration of multiple cross-service functions to deliver consistent, efficient, and financially optimized cross-services performance across the organization (--->this is related to cross-service alignments that we are trying to establish among services)
You come with
- Bachelor's Degree in Power Systems / Electrical Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in power system engineering, ideally experience in a TSO / transmission system operation business and involvement in Coordinated Capacity Calculation developments in CORE or Italy North Capacity Calculation Regions
- Knowledge of EU regulatory requirements for Regional Coordination Centers (RCCs) & Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in Europe
- Feeling comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders, ideally possesses an extensive network of contacts in the RCC/TSO business
- Experience with resource and budgeting processes / management
- Friendly and pro-active personality with the ability of thinking strategically
