As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners, provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures, play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Controller (m/f/d) to strengthen our finance function in a dynamic, project‑driven environment. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys building and improving controlling structures, taking ownership, and partnering closely with management and operational teams.
This position is also well suited for high‑potential controllers looking to take the next step into a senior, business‑partnering role.

Your main responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitoring financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and value‑creation initiatives
- Preparation of management‑ready analyses and presentations for senior management
- Ownership of cash flow forecasting and active support of liquidity management
- Acting as a sparring partner for senior management on financial steering and performance
- Project controlling, KPI monitoring, variance analyses, and identification of cost drivers
- Involvement in CAPEX planning and investment‑related financial analyses
- Continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of controlling processes
- Close collaboration with accounting and exposure to interactions with external auditors during period‑end and year‑end closings
- Use of ERP systems and Power BI / reporting tools to enhance transparency and decision‑making
You come with
- 5–7+ years of experience in controlling, financial reporting, or financial analysis
- Strong analytical skills and a hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset
- High level of ownership, responsibility, and reliability
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
- High willingness to learn and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics
- Solid understanding of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Advanced experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP), Excel, and Power BI
- Experience in an IT‑ and/or project‑driven environment is desirable
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or comparable qualification
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
- Fluent in English and German
