Who we are
We are a truly international team and proud to play a central role in securing the electricity supply for Europe. As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners, provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures, play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This is what your day will look like
- Develop SME knowledge on applications
- Guide project documentation such as creation of use cases and sequence diagrams
- Translate business needs into system requirements
- Manage both functional and non-functional requirements
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle
- Maintain relationships with software vendors
- Manage outsourced software development
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
- Coordinate software releases
- Monitor & report on application KPIs
- Take ownership of software evolution
- Proactively suggest improvements to keep products and services relevant
While a strong understanding of software development is essential, this role does not involve pure programming
You come with
- Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Strong experience of software development Life cycle implementation to retirement
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to communicate technical knowledge to non-technical parties
- Proven understanding of ITIL, databases, iSAQB, iSTQB ,TOGAF, IREB, SAFE Agile, Scrum methods
- Strong in 1 or more of these languages: Python, C/C++/C#, Java
- Translation of complex business requirements into technical workflows using BPMN
- Relevant skillset:
- DevOps understanding, Agile working in Agile working in DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, Gitlab, monitoring, logging)
- Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, microservices basics
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tools)
- Power Systems/Electrical Engineering Background is a plus
