This is what your day will look like
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (service teams and project teams) in order to understand the business needs and the problems they need to solve
- Develop mathematical models that describe the business problem (focus on European Power System with an objective to find the most reliable and cost-efficient operational settings)
- Collaborate with the Application Manager on the backlog of our mathematical optimization application
- Create and maintain functional requirements documentation for software development
- Align with software suppliers regarding system and application requirements for software deliverables at the same time ensuring security compliance and catalogue maintenance
- Coordinate testing activities for 3rd party software development
- Deliver training, training material or support training of new joiners and support staff as new or improved features are added to the services and products in cooperation with internal training specialists
You come with
- Bachelor´s Degree in Science, Power System/Electrical Engineering, Math or similar
- Computational experience in linear programming (LP) and mixed-integer programming (MIP)
- Basic understanding of power system fundaments and load flow theory
- Experience with requirements engineering analysis
- Advantage, but not mandatory: exposure to Information Technology, ITIL, Agile working in DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline
