We are a truly international team and proud to play a central role in securing the electricity supply for Europe. As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners, provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures, play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This is what your day will look like

  • Independent handling of procurement processes for materials and services from various product groups in close coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Design and implementation of the entire purchasing process, including supplier selection, solicitation, review, and evaluation of bids.
  • Execution of (EU) tendering procedures, contract conclusion, and ensuring complete documentation.
  • Establishment and maintenance of a resilient network of suppliers and internal departments.
  • Participation in the development and implementation of product group-specific purchasing strategies.
  • Identification of potential savings and optimization of process efficiency in operational purchasing.
  • Support for the further development of merchandise management systems and purchasing tools.
  • Definition, analysis, and evaluation of relevant key figures for purchasing management.

You come with

  • Completed commercial or technical degree (VWA, BA, FH, University), alternatively a commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in purchasing or comparable commercial areas.
  • Commitment, determination, resilience, and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as assertiveness.
  • Analytical thinking, organizational talent, problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products; SAP knowledge would be a plus.
  • Good command of English is required.
