“Sustainable energy production in combination with efficient cross border markets and a secure grid are not possible anymore without an intensive and continuous coordination between TSOs. RSCs like TSCNET Services are indispensable for the TSOs to reach this goal. ElSeC will highlight the current state of play of regional coordination and will be the platform to look ahead.”

“ENTSO-E’s strategy for Regional Coordination is now becoming a reality. The five RSCs now established across Europe are adding a valuable supporting role to the TSOs in meeting the challenging needs of the power system now and into the future. I am looking forward to ElSeC to showcase the developments and strong commitment from ENTSO-E, TSOs and RSCs on strengthening  Regional Coordination for the benefit of all consumers.”

“RSCs are pioneers and push regional power network cooperation further. Innovation and smartness, safer energy and a better deal for customers, but also highly skilled professionals result from their start up spirit. ElSeC 2017, co-organised by TSCNET and ENTSO-E, is the starting block for annual events around the burning questions of sustainability, markets and operations at a regional scale.”

“At TSCNET Services, we like to do things ‘head first’ – energetically and with confidence. This also goes for organising the ElSeC 2017 conference, which we consider a milestone in promoting collaboration and harmonisation between RSCs in Europe. We are firmly convinced of the RSC concept and are proud to make this conference become reality together with ENTSO-E.”
